Description: Bennington College commissioned Nate Padavick to create an illustrated map of the best sites to see when visiting the college in southwestern Vermont. This map accompanied a story about Dylan Thuras, a Bennington College graduate, who is the co-founder and creative director of the online travel guide Atlas Obscura. The story appears in the Fall 2024 magazine and recommends visits to sites such as Salem Art Works in nearby New York and MASS MoCA across the border in Massachusetts.
This map was created in Adobe Illustrator by Nate Padavick, using vector brushes and Nate’s propriety font Slender. AI was not used in the creation of this illustration.
