Description: The Five College Consortium—Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and University of Massachusetts Amherst—commissioned Nate Padavick to illustrate a map of the region in Central Massachusetts where these schools are located. The goal of the map was to emphasize their proximity to each other and visualize the bus routes students can take to move between them.

This map was created in Adobe Illustrator by Nate Padavick, using vector brushes and his proprietary hand-drawn font EZ2Read. AI was not used in the creation of this illustration.
